Robert Eugene McKenzie, 75, of Bellevue passed away Friday, March 9, 2013 at his home.
He was born November 16, 1938 in Bellevue the son of Kenneth "Bud" and Ellen (Dwight) McKenzie.
He was a graduate of York School. Upon graduation he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was employed by the Bellevue Fire Department and also was a truck driver for Nickels Bakery.
Bob was a member of the Bellevue Eagles, VFW, American Legion and the Wing Kings Kitchen Crew.
He is survived by his two sons, Corey (Melinda) Fazio and Troy Fazio, both of Bellevue; one daughter: Stacy (Randall) Gibbs of Bellevue; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; two brothers: Ike (Linda) McKenzie of Bellevue, and Ron (Nancy) McKenzie, of Santa Cruz, CA; a sister: Kris (Ron) Stoneman of Wilmington, NC., and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Ellen McKenzie, and life companion Connie Fazio.
At Bob's request private family services will be observed. Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
