Christy Sue Missler, 56, of Bellevue passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at The Cleveland Clinic.
She was born on May 6, 1956 in Marion, Ohio to Louise (French) Thompson and the late James Marion Thompson.
Christy worked at NASA Plum Brook Station as an administrative assistant, and also worked at the Ohio Veterans Home as a secretary. She was a graduate of Margaretta High School, and Lorain Business College. Christy was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue.
Christy also had her own business, Christy's Creations, which specialized in wedding flowers. She enjoyed many creative activities including making dolls. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved animals and enjoyed her pets.
Christy is survived by her mother, Louise Thompson, her husband, James Missler; her daughter, Brandy (Jason) Bennett; two grandchildren, Britain and Ireland Bennett, a brother, James (Christie) Thompson, a brother, Robert (Portia) Thompson, a special Aunt, Sheila French, and an Aunt Shirley French.
Friends will be received on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral mass officiated by Fr. Jonathan Wight will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
