Caleb Parsons, 7, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, March 24, 2013 in Fremont.
Caleb was born on August 9, 2005 in Sandusky, to Melissa (Likes) Parsons and Cornelius Ruffin.
Caleb was a second grader at Shawnee School in Huron, who enjoyed music, dancing, and wrestling. He was just a fun guy that enjoyed being around people and was able to put a smile on everyone’s face.
Caleb is survived by his Mother Melissa Parsons (Brandon) and Cornelius Ruffin (Jonna), three sisters Lyndazia Ruffin, Caylin McCormick and Nevaeh Ruffin, two brothers Noah Bor and Caine Ruffin; his grand-parents Lynda (Joseph) Easley and William Ruffin great-grandparents, Kay Gosa, Blaine (Helga) Duncil, and Peggy Grant, four aunts, Amanda Likes, Sarah Likes, Shanterius Hinton and Tiffany Green, three Uncles Delon Hinton, William Ruffin Jr. and Brian Sanders and a host of cousins and other relatives.
Caleb was preceded in death by his grandmother Kathy Jean Likes, great grandfather’s George Gosa, Alfred Hinton and John Grant and his great grandmother Ruthie Ruffin.
Friends will be received on Friday from 10AM until time of funeral services at 12 Noon in Faith Memorial Church 1320 E. Strub Rd. Sandusky, Ohio. The Rev. Ken Hiser will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio. The Groff Funeral Home and Crematory in Sandusky will be assisting the family.
