Jerry B. Williams

Jerry B. Williams, 70, of Sandusky, was called to eternal life on Friday morning, April 5, 2013 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.

He was born on May 19, 1942 in Louisville, Alabama to the late J.B. and Florence M. (Walker) Williams.

Jerry attended Clio Public High School in Clio, Alabama. He moved to Canton, Ohio in 1965. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company for 36 years.

He enjoyed bowling, and was a bowling coach for over 20 years. Jerry was a great mentor for many young people. He received the Coach of the Year Award for his talent, time, and endless dedication to the Star Lanes Junior Bowlers.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Annie L. (Baxter) Williams; son, Willie Mack (Pearline) Williams, of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Rosa Lee Williams and Zella (James) Jackson, both of Dothan, Alabama, Della (Thomas) Glanton, of Clio, Alabama, Patricia (Curtis) Drayton, of Stockbridge, Georgia, Angela Dunigan, of Douglasville, Georgia, and Alisa Collins, of Sandusky; brothers, Billy Don Curry and Tracy Lattimore; son-in-law, Dennis Collins, of Sandusky; the joy of his life, his 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Lee Williams; and brother, James David Williams.

Friends may call from Noon on Friday, April 12, 2013 until time of funeral services at 2 P.M. at Agape Love Ministries, 4013 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Bishop Clifton T. Jones, Sr. will preside, and Rev. Bobbie Garrett of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Sandusky will give the eulogy.
