Rose M. Kasuga age 92 of Bellevue passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Bellevue Care Center.
She was born January 15, 1921 in Bellevue the daughter of the late Vincent J. & Theresa (Serraino) Artino.
Rose worked at the General Electric Bellevue Lamp Plant, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and it's Altar Rosary Society, Women's Choir and former Daughters of Isabella and also the former Club Amer-Ital. She volunteered for many years at the Sorrowful Mother Shrine Gift Shop. Rose enjoyed crocheting and collecting Hummel's.
Rose is survived by her husband of 74 years, Alex P. Kasuga whom she married Jan 21, 1939 at Immaculate Conception Church, son; Gerald "Gerry" Kasuga of Ely, MN, sister; Nancy (Mike) Barrett of Bellevue.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughters; Peggy and Shari Kasuga, son; William Kasuga, brothers; Ben Artino, Joseph Artino, sisters; Theresa Calle, Maryann Gampetro, and Josephine Farr.
Friends will be received Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 10 am until a funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
