Edwin C. Linder, 47, of Monroeville, Ohio, died Monday morning, May 20, 2013 at his home.
He was born February 5, 1966 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Frank W. and Agnes L. (Phillips) Linder and was a lifelong area resident. Ed was a 1984 graduate of Norwalk High School and E.H.O.V.E. Joint Vocational School. He attended the West Hartland United Methodist Church and was a member of Laborers Union Local #1216, Mansfield, Ohio. Ed was a former employee of Bennett Electric Co. of Norwalk, Ohio, Nor-Con Company, S.E. Johnson, and was currently a Foreman for Kokosing Construction Company. He enjoyed hunting, grilling, camping, gardening, was a Cleveland Browns fan, and especially enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandson.
Ed is survived by his wife of 10 years, Cindy (Coy) Linder of Monroeville, Ohio, by his children, Beckie and Chad Fitch of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, Jennie and Codie Workman of Amherst, Ohio, Jillian A. Linder of Monroeville, Ohio and by his step son, Jarrett Tuttle of Monroeville, Ohio, and by his grandson, Parker Workman. He is also survived by his siblings, Linda and Bob Huey of Port Charlotte, Florida, Andy and Mary Linder of Norwalk, Ohio, Allen and Cindy Linder of Milan, Ohio, Gerry and Judy Linder of Collins, Ohio, Vickie and Randy Zipfel of Naperville, Illinois, Steve and Sharon Linder of Norwalk, Ohio, Marvin and Vicky Linder of Wakeman, Ohio, Rita A. Linder of Norwalk, Ohio, and Tina and Scot Davidson of Norwalk, Ohio.
Preceded by his brother Charles Linder in 1990, by his twin brother in infancy, Martin, and by his nephew Richard Huey.
Friends may call on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home. Pastor Jeff Watson, Associate Pastor of the Foundation Church will officiate. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
