Darlene A. (Spring) Bledsoe, 65, of Sandusky, passed away early Monday morning, May 27, 2013 at Stein Hospice Care Center, following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 29, 1947 in Sandusky, OH to the late Isaac and Viola (Stamn) Spring.
Darlene was employed for several years by the former Foster Grant company. In her spare time she enjoyed camping, traveling, coffee talk, spending time with her family, her greatest joys were her children, and grandchildren.
Cherished with her memories are her loving husband of 48 years, Carlos E. Bledsoe; three daughters, Sandra (Stacey Stoll) Bledsoe, Michelle Williams, and Carlene (Jeffrey) Aldrich; six grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, and Michael Sabatino, Donald (Mekenna), Bryan, and Bradley Williams; two great-grandchildren, Braydon Williams, and Isiaha Johnson; her sister, Lois (Bill) Huff; five brothers, Delbert (Becky), Luther "Bud", Bruce (Carol), and Ronald (Ellen) Spring all of Sandusky, and Duane (Nancy) Spring of Largo, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Judith Spring, her twin sister and her brother-in-law, Marlene (Robert) Windau; and her brother and sister-in-law, Larry (Mary) Spring.
Friends may call Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 4 to 7 PM at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky 44870. Services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. At the family's request cremation will take place following the services.
