Willie Steve Irby, Sr., 52, Sandusky, passed from this life on December 6, 2010 in The Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH.
He was born on November 12, 1958 in Sandusky, Ohio to Lamon and Bernice (Marshall) Irby, Sr. He was a graduate of Sandusky High School and attended Bowling Green State University, majoring in Secondary Education. Willie was a member of The Assembly of Jesus Christ Church under the leadership of Elder Johnnie Cross, and was an ordained minister for The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
Leaving to cherish loving memories are his wife, Margie A. (Cross) Irby; mother, Bernice Irby; daughter, Brittany N. Seavers; sons, Darcel Irby, Edward A."John-John" Gresham, Johnnie William "Darren" Gresham, Djuan Seavers, and Willie Steve Irby, Jr; brother, Lamon (Brenda) Irby, Jr.; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lamon Irby, Sr.; and brother, Walter Irby.
Friends may call on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 7-9 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Homegoing service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 1 P.M. in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Elder Johnnie W.
