Johnny B. Hensley, age 47, of Vickery, died Friday morning, May 31, 2013, at his residence, following a lengthy illness.
He was born September 11, 1965, in Sandusky and received his GED from Margaretta High School. He worked in construction as a laborer for many years. Johnny loved to spend time with his granddaughter Rileigh, and go hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Ruth (Zitter) Hensley, whom he married on October 13, 1985; daughter Brittany Hensley; son John Hensley; granddaughter Rileigh Hensley; sister Mary Roberts, KY; and brother Hulan Garrett, KY.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents Theo and Ruth (Gibbs) Hensley.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM, Tuesday, June 7, 2013, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Cremation will follow.
