Florence Mary "Flossie" Doughty - 87, of Norwalk, passed away on Thursday morning, June, 13, 2013 in her home surrounded by her family.

She was born September 11, 1925 in Bismark, Ohio to the late John and Monica (Brobst) Elmlinger. Florence was a homemaker, babysitter for her grandchildren, and formerly worked at Rotary Printing Company, Norwalk, Ohio, during World War II. She was a member of St. Mary-Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church in Norwalk, Ohio.

Florence is survived by her children, daughter, Barbara Doughty, sons, Michael (Michelle) Doughty, Dennis (Kris) Doughty, and David (Rhonda) Doughty, all of Norwalk, Ohio, and by her grandchildren, Andrew(Yana) Doughty, Alison and Alex Doughty, Christopher, Matthew, Nicholas,A and Sarah Doughty, Courtney Seitz, Brittany(Brian) Belcher, and John Seitz. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Adalee and Soloman Belcher, and by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John F. and Monica F. Elmlinger, her husband, Charles O. Doughty, an infant daughter, Jeanne Marie Doughty, by her brothers, Herman J. Elmlinger, Edward A. Elmlinger, Charles J. Elmlinger, Charles P. Elmlinger, Monsignor Herbert L. Elmlinger, and John E. Elmlinger, and by her sisters, Sr. M. Roseanne Elmlinger, Estella M. Shank, Sr. M. Lillian Elmlinger, Rita M. Miller, and Margaret M. Wilhelm.

Friends may call on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary-Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 38 West League St., Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Anthony Recker will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
