Jeffrey "Jeff" Tyson, 59, of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday morning, June 23, 2013 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born on August 18, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA.
Jeff was employed as a truck driver for Ohio Eastern Express for 20 years. He loved playing pool, video games, the Philadelphia Eagles, and NASCAR; but his first love was his truck.
He is survived by his wife, Alice (King) Tyson, of Sandusky; mother, Bertha Tyson, of Philadelphia, PA; daughters, Alis Tyson, Denise Porter, and Denielle Tyson, all of Harrisburg, PA; step-daughters, Trina Bowman and Tarisa Allen, both of Harrisburg, PA, and Kiesha Chase, of Steelton, PA; sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Mayfield, of Berlington, NJ; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Tyson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. in the Firelands Realtors Building, 2710 Campbell St., Sandusky. Pastor Jamie Richardson will officiate.
