Colt King, 52, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at University Hospital in Cleveland following a lengthy illness.
Colt was born on January 30, 1961 in Sandusky, Ohio.
Colt retired after several years as an environmental director at several area nursing homes. He enjoyed spending time at his camper, fishing, visiting with all his friends, and riding his golf cart with his wife Rosa. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, they were his life.
Colt is survived by his wife, Rosa (Fallen) King, of 33 years, two sons, Brian King and William Beatty III; grandchildren, Tiana King whom he and his wife raised, William Beatty IV, Britney King, Amber King, Connor Beatty, and Kaylee Eskins; brothers, Bobby (Diana), Jason (Vicky) King, and Freddie (Janey) Duncil; sisters, Tammy Martinez, Teresa Rhode, Tina Garrett and Joyce Duncil; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Christine (Morrison) King; mother, Laura Sue Duncil; and his sister, Diana Duncil.
Friends may call on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. The Rev. Steve Atkins will officiate.
