William "Bill" Fulton, age 70, Bellevue, passed away July 4, 2013 at Stein Hospice. He was born July 26, 1942 in Lodi, Ohio the son of Howard B. and Dorothy E. (Dennis) Fulton.
He was a 1960 graduate of Bellevue High School. Bill was in partnership with his dad at Fulton & Son Insurance. Bill received the Westfield Insurance Agent Award for 25 years of service (1964-1989). He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved his pets and enjoyed golf and bowling being in the 700 Club. He coached the Eagles Little League Championship Team. Bill was instrumental in the building of BAF Stadium in Bellevue.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Sandusky; Bellevue Rotary, where he was a charter member, past president (1980-81) as well as a Paul Harris Fellow; Eagles Aeries 490; Bellevue Elks; American Legion Post 46; Former Club Amer-Ital; Bellevue Hospital Volunteer; Bo-Ray Boys; Bellevue Athletic Boosters; Charter member Bellevue Hospital Foundation.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jan (Lorcher) whom he married on October 4, 1975 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Norwalk; daughter Heather Elizabeth Fulton (Duane) Stanek, Dublin, OH, son, Jonathan Patrick (Valentina) Fulton, Dayton, OH; 3 grandchildren Alex, Sasha, Annabella Fulton; sister Debbie E. (Bill Keating) Koebel, Fremont, OH; brother-in-laws ; James J. (Becky) Lorcher, Norwalk, OH; Glenn K. (Vicki) Rhoades, Norwalk, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; and his golden Bingo.
He is preceded in death by his parents and dogs, Max, Sadie, Bear, and cat, Sneezie.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 106 Scheid Road, Sandusky, OH 44870 where memorial services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor William Hlavin officiating.
