Jackie Maschari, 64, of Norwalk, Ohio died Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio.
She was born January 4, 1949, in Bellevue, Ohio, to Jack and Thelma (Crouser) Murphy.

As a 1967 Norwalk High School graduate and long time Norwalk resident she enjoyed her life as a mother and homemaker. She found joy in the simplicities of life: reading, cooking, gardening, spending time with loved ones, and relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine while listening to her favorite music. She should be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, kind and generous nature, as well as being a loving mother and loyal friend. Jackie was a member of the Norwalk American Legion Post 41, supporter of the Norwalk Humane Society, the Autism Society of Ohio, and the American Red Cross.

She is survived by daughter, Stacey (Steve) Landoll of Dublin, Ohio; long time companion, Robert Bolyard of Norwalk, Ohio; nephew, Cameron Kelley of Sandusky, Ohio; close friends, Wilda Starr of Norwalk, Ohio; Penelope Starr of Miami, Florida; Cathy Morgan of Clearwater, Florida; Delores Janeda of Norwalk, Ohio; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Thelma (Crouser) Murphy of Norwalk, Ohio, and her sister, Sandra (Jim) Kelley of Norwalk, Ohio.

Family and friends may gather to honor Jackie's life on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 at the Norwalk American Legion Post 41 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, Ohio 44857, or Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made by going to www.edwalkerfuneralhome.com.
