Laura Ann Schwanger LaCourse, 51, residing in Cleveland and formerly of Sandusky, passed away on Thursday afternoon, July 11, 2013 in the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland.
She was born on October 29, 1961 in Sandusky.
Laura was employed by Moccasin-Bend Mental Institute for the State of Tennessee.
She is survived by her father and step-mother, James (Joyce) Schwanger, Sandusky; step-father, Clarence Samstag, Sandusky; children, Brittany (Kyle) Schaefer, Zackary (fiancée, Michelle) LaCourse, and Megan LaCourse all of Chatanooga, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jackson and Chloe; brothers, Dan Schwanger, James Schwanger, Todd Schwanger, and Michael Schwanger, all of Sandusky, and Nelson Eads, Greenfield, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Madelyn (Bray) Samstag.
Friends may call on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 2 P.M. until time of funeral services at 4 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Robb Fowler will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
