Giles Parks age 70 of Bellevue passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 at the Bellevue Care Center.
He was born September 1, 1941 in Sullivan County Tennessee the son of the late David & Okie (Nelson) Parks.
Giles was employed at F. Hammond Stone in Flat Rock.
Survivors include his daughter Diana Rose of Bellevue, grandsons; Jesse Giles Rose of Bellevue, Cody James Rose of Bellevue, Great-Grandson; Jeremiah Kaiser of Bellevue, brothers; Bobby Parks of Bellevue, Charles Parks of Bellevue, Johnny Parks of Green Springs, Sisters; Luella Maines of Bellevue, Ruth Ann Rollins of Fremont, and Kate Kurtz of Melmore.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister; Juanita Meyer, brothers; Russell Parks, Robert Parks and Freddie Parks.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at First Freewill Baptist Church, 929 N. Main St., Clyde, at 11:00 am. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
