Kimala K. Lowry

Kimala K. Lowry, 53, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 from injuries she suffered in an automobile accident.

She was born June 13, 1960 in Sandusky, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. Kimala attended Norwalk High School and was employed at Chuck's Carry-Out of Norwalk, Ohio. She enjoyed Native American Culture, riding motorcycles, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Kimala is survived by her daughter's and sons in law, Heidi J. and Cory Gentry of Norwalk, Ohio, and Holly D. and Jerrmey Herold of Amherst, Ohio, by her grandchildren, Alyssa, Ava, and Austin Gentry, Caleb and Chloe Lykins, Caylee and Celsee Herold, and Cayden Lowry, by her mother and step father, Mary G. (Martin) and Carl Fritz of Okeechobee, Florida, and by her father, James R. Stott of Norwalk, Ohio, by her step son, Chaz Lowry of Norwalk, Ohio, by her sister, Tracy M. Souslin and Scott Ruffing of Norwalk, Ohio, by her half sister, Amy Buonconsiglio, and her daughter Kayla Hoffman, of New York, by her half brother, David Hoffman of New York, by her step sisters, Wendy Boster of Geneva, Ohio and Karen Sedor of Tucson, Arizona, and by her lifelong friend, Scott Dunn of Norwalk, Ohio.

Kimala was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Lowry, July 22, 2012, by her sisters, Brenda Jo Stott and Kelly Sue Stott, by her maternal grandparents, R.L. "Baldy" and Kathleen Miller, and by her paternal grandparents, William and Ellen Stott.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Rev. Everett Stoddard, Pastor of the Collins United Methodist Church will officiate. Inurnment will be in Collins Cemetery.
