Marjorie M. Lawrence, 81, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born February 4, 1932 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Gilbert and Pauline (Bilger) Thorn. Marjorie married John Lawrence November 20, 1954. She was a lifelong area resident of Norwalk, Ohio. Marjorie was previously employed at Philco and Norwalk Furniture Company. She enjoyed her family and friends, and square dancing with the F.A.D.S. (Firelands Area Dancing Squares).
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Susan Sehlmeyer of Norwalk, Ohio, by her son, Michael Lawrence of Norwalk, Ohio, by her grandchildren, Chris and Edith Sehlmeyer of Norwalk, Ohio, Ashley Lawrence of Kent, Ohio, and Brian Lawrence of Kent, Ohio, by her great granddaughter, Samantha Sehlmeyer of Norwalk, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lawrence in 1990.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio.
