Katheryne L. (Lewis) Kluding, 75, Sandusky, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, July 30, 2013 in her home.
She was born on July 22, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Alvin Jackson Lewis and the late Inez Josephine (Lewis) Hickman. Katheryne graduated from Columbus South High School. She worked for many years as a legal secretary for numerous attorneys in Sandusky. She adored her career, truly enjoying the work she did. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Katheryne also loved making ceramics, and she built close and lasting relationships with her respiratory therapy group. Katheryne is survived by her husband, Ronald R. Kluding; sons, Dennis R (Nikki) Kluding and Jeffrey D. Kluding; daughter, Jennifer I. Delgado; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane (Ken) Gottke, Debi (Ryan) Retherford, and Donna Cupp; special cousin, Connie Kluding; brother-in-law, Glenn Kluding; special friends, Michelle Murphy and Mary Ann Diamond; and numerous other cousins, relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, A. Jack Lewis and John A. Lewis; and step-mother, Teresa M. Jocz. Friends may call on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 10 A.M. until Noon at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Sandusky. Memorial contributions may be made in Katheryne's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870.
