Eloise N. Rafferty, 100 ½ , of Sandusky, died Tuesday
afternoon, July 30, 2013 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born October 31, 1912 in Sandusky and was a graduate of Margaretta High School. Eloise was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sandusky and enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting and her family.
She is survived by one daughter: Karen R. Zlasney of North Ridgeville, OH., one son: Ronald B. (Kathryn) Rafferty of Port Huron, MI., four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Woodrow C. Rafferty in 1993, her parents: Cyrus & Regina (Klohn) Nielsen, and eight siblings.
Friends may call Friday, August 1, 2013 from 11:30 AM until time of funeral service at 1:30 PM in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. The Rev. William Hlavin will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
