Gerald "Joey" Goodsite, Sr., 56, Norwalk, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 6, 2013 in Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born on February 23, 1957 in Norwalk, Ohio.
Joey loved to fish and walk. He also loved to spend time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids.
Joey is survived by his parents, Harold and Dorothy (Ross) Goodsite; children, Gerald "Joey", Jr., Michael, Rebecca, Allen, and Julie; grandchildren, Gerald "Joey", III and Tristina; and siblings, Michael (Rudy), Julie (Gary), Bonnie (Mike), Gary (Debbie), Shelley (Gary), and Kasey (Eric).
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve, in 2009.
At Joey's request there will be no visitation and cremation will take place. Services will be private.
