Alvin W. Zeller Jr., 78, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at The Bellevue Care Center.
He was born December 18, 1934 in Bellevue the son of Alvin, Sr. and Gertrude (Mattison) Zeller. Alvin was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue, the Eagles Aerie 490, Four County Young at Heart and the former Club Amer-Ital. He was employed and retired from A. Schulman and was co-founder of Zeller Storage.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eileen; Eleven Children: Richard Zeller, Robert (Sam) Zeller, Christine (Ron) Brooks, Marilyn (Bart) Ramon, Amy (Chuck) Gittinger, Laurie (Charlie) Paul, Ruth ( John Krupp) Natole, Geralyn (Ron Daniel) Goodsite, Alvin (Sharon) Zeller III, Kathleen (Ted) Moore, and Heidi Zeller; 25 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; a brother, Eugene Zeller of Tiffin, and a sister, Carol Schneider of Bucyrus.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roger Zeller; and grandson, Jacob Zeller.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 2-7 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a wake service will be held begin at 1:30 p.m.. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
