Helen Bumb, 92, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 at her sons home, surrounded by her family.
She was born November 17, 1918 in Norwich Township, the daughter of the late Anthony and Alta (Long) Donnamiller. She married Russell Bumb on October 30, 1937 at St. Sebastian's Church, Bismark; He preceded her in death in 1990. Helen was a member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 55 Plus Club of Willard, Four County Young at Heart, and the former St. Sebastian's Church. She enjoyed cards, bingo, traveling, hunting, fishing and spending time with her family most of all. She spent her winters in Lehigh Acres, Florida. She was a precinct worker for Huron County Board of Elections for 25 years.
She is survived by her three sons, Robert (Ruth Ann) of Willard, Thomas (Mary) of Bellevue, Richard (Karen), of Bellevue; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Louis Donnamiller, infant siblings, Daniel Donnamiller, and Mae Donnamiller.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral mass officiated by Fr. Paul Fahrbach will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 16209 County Road 46, Bellevue, Ohio 44811. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery.
