Patricia L. Giles Spayd, 80, Sandusky, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013, in Metrohealth Medical Center, Cleveland.
She was born in Norwalk, OH on December 7, 1932, and was a graduate of Norwalk High School.
Patricia was a restaurant manager, and worked for several restaurants, and also in the cafeteria at St. Paul in Norwalk.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky, was an avid reader, recently began crocheting, and loved canning and bingo.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia "Cindy" (Jeff) Keller, Berlin Heights, William Giles, Jr., Huron, and Dennis (John Snarski) Giles, Crystal Lake, IL; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William H. Giles, Sr.; second husband, Richard Spayd; parents, Howard and Elizabeth (Schiffel) Latham; son, Scott Jeffrey Giles; sister, Gloria Jean Ott; and companion, Jim Zuber.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 10 A.M. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Deacon Jeff Claar will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Norwalk.
