Donald J. Hush, Jr., 60 of Danville, Ohio and Sandusky died unexpectedly Thursday evening, August 29, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was born December 2, 1952 in Sandusky and was a 1971 graduate of Margaretta High School. Don was a member of American Legion Post 83 Sons of the Legion, and enjoyed camping and being with his family and friends. He was employed by the Resley and Sortino families since 1984. Prior to this, he drove truck for the former Sandusky Dressed Beef.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, the former Brenda LaCourse, seven children: Jessica (Jason) Voegle, Dawn Hush, Donnie Hush all of Sandusky, Deanna (Joseph) Hush of Norwalk, Lisa (Lee) Klenk, Christopher (Chrissy) Klenk, both of Sandusky and Melissa Klenk of Danville, 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, two sisters and one brother, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, with special mention to Bob & Les Resley of Huron.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Janice (Strohm) Hush and his father: Donald J. Hush, Sr.
Friends may call Friday, September 6, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. The Rev. John Mawhirter will officiate. Entombment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
