Bobby Wayne Habernigg, 56, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday, October 11, 2013 in University of Toledo Medical Center.
He was born January 27, 1957 in Pearisburg, Virginia to the late Cromer L. and Jannie L. (Conley) Habernigg, and lived most of his life in the Norwalk area.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bobby had worked at Twilight Gardens Nursing Home. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and reading.
He is survived by his children, Christie Thompson, of Castalia, Ohio, Richard Thompson and Billy Thompson, both of Norwalk, Ohio, by his brothers and sister in law, Charles H. Habernigg, Richard L. Habernigg, both of Norwalk, Ohio, and Curt (Barb) Conley, of Collins, Ohio, by his sisters and brother in law, Elizabeth Ann Huber, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Kathy (Steve) Preston of Vermilion, Ohio, and by several grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Habernigg in 2003.
Friends may call on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St. Norwalk, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
