Shirley A. Humphrey, 78, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Thursday, October 10, 2013 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 16, 1934 in Green Stone, Pennsylvania to the late Carl F. and Ethel (Linebaugh) Warren.
Shirley moved to Ohio following her marriage to William Gilbert, who preceded her in death. She was a former telephone operator for G.T.E. and retired from Kuhlman Instrument Company. Her compassion, generosity, and passion for life endeared her to everyone she met. Shirley was a devoted wife and loving mother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Gilbert and Vicki Timman, and by her sister, Marilyn Snyder.
Shirley was preceded in death by her second husband, Al Humphrey, and by her brothers, Eugene and Rodney Warren.
Friends may call on Saturday, October, 19, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio.
