Edward Anthony Bikulcius, 85, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 suddenly after being struck by a vehicle.
Edward was born on November 21, 1927 in Lewiston, MA to the late Anupras and Annie (Kaulakaite) Bikulcius.
He was a 1945 graduate of Lewiston High School, and graduated from the University of Maine in 1950. He was employed by General Motors until retiring in 1986. Edward was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Monday Christian Men's Group, and was a Power Squadron instructor. He loved his old Lyman boat and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Edward is survived by his significant other, of 40 years, Ardis (Clemmons) Budd; his inherited children, Sarita "Sam" (Tom) Reau and Christopher Budd; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his two inherited sons, Timothy Budd in 1977 and Anthony "Tony" Budd in 2012; two grandsons, Timothy Bates-Budd in 1990 and Jacob Zeller in 2013; and his god-mother, Tekle Kalwell.
Friends may call on Sunday, October 27, 2013, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Prayers will be recited on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 9:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky with Father Eric Mueller presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
