Kathryn Harriett Brandal, 93, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013, of natural causes in Grand Rapids Michigan.
She lived in Norwalk for 87 years before moving to Grand Rapids in 2006 to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Geri E. Henkel, and son-in-law, Russell Henkel, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, by her grandson, Sean Henkel and his wife Laura (great grandsons, Eric and Jacob Henkel) of Ada, Michigan, by her step daughter, Ann Andrews and her children, Sue Brandal and her husband Denny (children ,Jackie and Jude Brandal), and Wendy Scherck and her husband Sam (children, Mathew, Melissa, Michael ,and great-great -grandchild ,Jacqueline Myer).
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George V Brandal.
Kathryn was very active at her assisted living center, participating in many activities and outings. She and George spent many winters in Florida. She worked for over 25 years at Miller, Miller & Miller, Attorneys at law. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Norwalk Chapter, for over 60 years.
Friends may call on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio where services will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
