Frank "Pancho" Martinez, 85, passed away Nov 1, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Luling, TX. He was a resident of Norwalk for over 50 years and retired from The Norwalk Foundry.
He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed music, dancing, fishing, and his beer. Frank also worked for the Norwalk Police department as a translator whenever his services were needed.
He is survived by his wife Trinity who he married in 1952, his sisters; Nico Garcia of Boynton Beach, FL, Rosie Alvarez of Wileston, FL; His brothers; Arthur Martinez of Lake City, FL, and Vincent Martinez of Norwalk, OH.
Children; Louisa Martinez of West Palm Beach, FL, Rudy (Sue) Martinez of Norwalk, OH, Christopher (Barb) Martinez of Wakeman, OH, and Ruben (Lynn) Martinez of Richardson, TX. Granddaughters; Kasha (Greg) Donnelly of Grand Rapids, OH, Lindi Martinez of Wakeman, OH, and Stacy Sanchez of Norwalk, OH. Great Grandchildren; Eliana, Alessandra, Christian, Joaquin, and Alma.
He was preceded in death by his brother Joe Martinez, 2004 of Ft. Worth, TX.
Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday November 5, 2013, from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m.to 8:00p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, OH. A Christian Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. , at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main St. Norwalk, Ohio. Msgr. Kenneth Morman will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery.
