Christopher W. Stoddard

Christopher W. Stoddard, 49, of Monroeville, Ohio, died Monday, November 5, 2013 at his home.

He was born January 20, 1964 in Norwalk, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident.

Chris was a 1982 graduate of Norwalk High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Chris was a supervisor at Janesville Products, Norwalk, Ohio where he had worked for 23 years. He was a member of Firelands Post #2743 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Norwalk, Ohio, Ken Bur Bell Post #41 American Legion, Norwalk, Ohio and Eagles Aerie #711 Norwalk, Ohio. Chris enjoyed taking care of his home, cutting firewood, hunting, and was an outdoorsman.

He is survived by his mother, Ann W. (Wilkinson) Stoddard of Norwalk, Ohio, by his son, Christopher Lutzenheiser of West Virginia, and by his siblings, Thomas H. Stoddard, and his son Brian. of Norwalk, Ohio, Nancy C. and Robert Tittle and their son, Jacob, of Berlin Heights, Ohio, Scott N. Stoddard of Norwalk, Ohio, Timothy A. Stoddard and his life partner Jim Simpson of Tiffin, Ohio, Ty R. Bowling of Collins, Ohio, and Lori E. West of North Fairfield, Ohio, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Stoddard in 2003.

Friends may call on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul Episcopal Church, 87 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Margaret D'Aneri will officiate. Interment will be in Wakeman Cemetery.
