Heath L. Moltz, 38, of Huron, passed away late Wednesday evening, November 6, 2013 in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
He was born on January 12, 1975 in Sandusky, Ohio, and graduated from Huron High School in 1994.
Heath was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Castalia. His passions were skateboarding, painting and drawing, and music. He also loved to hunt, fish, and shoot pool. He was a true comedian, and he absolutely adored his niece and nephews. He entertained those around him, and as someone put it, "The guy made people smile."
Heath is survived by his mother and step-father, Amy (Quick) and Donald Casper; father and step-mother, Kenneth and Sally Moltz; sisters, Amber Webb, Aubrey (Erik) Rogers, and Amanda Moltz; grandmother, Dorothy Moltz; nephews and niece, Noah Perry, Camron Webb, Hunter Wright, Breella Rogers, Eli Rogers, and Liam Lambert; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Ellen Quick, Carl B. Moltz, and Herbert and Thelma Weilnau; and brother-in-law, Jay Webb.
At Heath's request, cremation will take place. Private family services and burial will be in Castalia Cemetery. Pastor Jamie Stewart from Stein Hospice will officiate words of committal.
