Eleanore A. "Bootsie" Smith, 76, Sandusky, died Sunday, November 10, 2013, in the Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Samaria, MI on June 1, 1937.
Bootsie was a member of North Pointe Baptist Church, Sandusky. She loved to draw, go shopping, and was always a kind hearted person, never meeting a stranger.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Smith, to whom she was married 50 years; daughters, Karen Ritter, Vickery, OH, Linda Smith, Baldwin, MI, and Shirley Smith, Whites Landing, OH; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Teddy Fischer, Leroy Fischer, Dan Fischer, and Dave Fischer; several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Bacome; mother, Phyllis (Shroyer) Fischer; step father, Ted Fischer, Sr.; and a brother.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. in the North Pointe Baptist Church, 3702 Hayes Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
