Florence Elizabeth Leamer Ryerson, age 85, of Castalia, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 25, 2013.
She was born May 25, 1928, in Cherry Tree, PA, to John and Bertha McDonald Leamer.
She retired in 1988 after 35 years of service at New Departure Hyatt, and previously worked at Philco, Cedar Point, and Corry Hospital in PA. She was an active and founding member of Victory Temple, and a past member and was baptized in Wayside Temple in Castalia. She also attended services at Second Chance Chapel.
Florence loved her horses, especially Smoky, and had an endless love and giving to her children, family, and others around her. She loved to travel, paint, being outdoors, and helping everyone.
She is survived by two sons James (Debbie) Ryerson of Sandusky, and Randall (Michelle) Ryerson of Sandusky; one daughter Vicki Graves of Castalia; 10 grandchildren Keith, Brian, Jason, Bill, Randy, Joe, Jennifer, Kenny, Michael, and Maisa; and 11 great grandchildren.
Florence was preceded in death, besides her parents, by one son A. Ronald Ryerson, grandson Jared D. Ryerson, sister Emma Wadding, brother William Willis Lamar, and half brother William Lamar.
Friends may call from 1:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2013, until time of memorial services at 2:00 PM, in the Victory Temple, 1619 W. Strub Road, Sandusky. The Rev. Lonnie Walters will officiate, and will be assisted by Pastors Rusty Yost and Donnie Greene. Burial will take place for the family on Saturday morning in Castalia Cemetery. Ransom Funeral, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.
