Clarence B. Brown, age 84, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, December 01, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 20, 1929 in Norwalk to the late Henry and Olive (Ott) Brown.
He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Monroeville Knights of Columbus, Bronson Norwalk Conservation Club and the American Legion. He enjoyed spending time with his family, farming, working and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth (Sim) Brown of Norwalk; children, Jacqueline S. (David) Reed of Norwalk, Jennifer K. (G. Scott) Slone of Norwalk, Joseph R. (Mary) Brown of Norwalk, and Judi L. (David) Roth of Collierville, TN; grandchildren, Sydney Reed, Mallory Reed, Amber (Adam) Schafer, Treva Slone, Josee Brown, Maura Brown and Evan Brown; great-grandchildren, Alaina Schafer and Adrian Schafer; sister-in-law, Helen Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Carlton Robert Brown; brothers, Paul, Edward and Robert Brown; and sisters, Adeline Kluding and Marie Raftery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with the Rev. William Pifher, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
