Evelyn F. Ott, 74, of Norwalk, Ohio, died late Sunday evening, December 1, 2013 in Fisher Titus Medical Center.
She was born November 21, 1939 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Ernest L. and Kathryn V. (Turner) Viock and was a lifelong area resident.
Evelyn was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She attended Monroeville High School. Evelyn was a member of Car Coddlers of Ohio and the Crown Victoria Association. She enjoyed her monthly trip to Amish County, flower gardening, baking, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Norman L. Ott, of Norwalk, Ohio, by her sons and daughters in law, John L. and Jane Ott, Ronald S. and Michele Ott, and Thomas L. Ott and Sarah Newland, all of Norwalk, Ohio, and by her grandchildren, Lewis, Lydia, Desiri (Richard) Pace, Alyssa, Maizi, Reese, Olivia and Claire, and by her great grandson, Nickolas Pace. Evelyn is also survived by her siblings, Carl and Bernice Viock, of Sandusky, Ohio, Dorothy and Bill Loyer of Lake Placid, Florida, Stella and Bernie Menningen, of Findlay, Ohio, and Richard Viock, of Sandusky, Ohio.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 10:30 p.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Nathan Bachrath will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio.
