Michael J. Pruitt, 47, Clyde, died Monday, December 2, 2013, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born on September 23, 1966 in Williamson, W. VA, and graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1985.
He was employed by Autoplas in Bellevue.
Michael loved to fish and camp, being around nature. He was a handy man, being able to fix just about anything. Spending time with family and friends was important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Lina (Doss) Pruitt, Clyde; children, Glenna Marie and Billy, both of Clyde; brothers and sisters, Bonnie (Charles) Walker, Fremont, OH, Dorothy (Elmer) Stump, Columbus, OH, Donald (Shannon) Pruitt, Eugene Pruitt, Debi (Teddy) Coleman, and Clayton Pruitt, all of Kentucky, and Ricky Pruitt of Virginia; mother-in-law, Abbie Doss; brothers-in-law, Ken (Shirley) Doss, Tim (Kara) Doss, James Doss, and Daniel (Dawn) Doss; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathilene Ratliff; father, Ervin Pruitt; and step father, William Ratliff.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 1:30 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev.
