Mabel S. White (Roby) 86, of Sandusky, died Friday, January 14, 2011, in Sandusky. She was born June 22, 1924 in Bloomington, IL and was formerly of Union City, MI. She moved to Sandusky in 1952 and was employed as a bookkeeper for Sandusky Fabricating. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Sandusky. She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Meachum of Sandusky, Patricia (Gary) Bush of St. Joseph, MI, and Mary Jane (Tony) Robinson, of Wimberley, TX; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Frank of Huron, and Dorothy Rosenberry of Climax, MI; and a brother, Glen Roby of Coldwater, MI; a brother-in-law Glenn White of Sandusky as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her husband, Derrill A. White in 2004; her parents, Carroll and Mina (Stanley) Roby; a son, Melvin Meachum; one daughter: Carol Stewart, and one sister: Alice Roby Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pfeil Funeral Home, 617 Columbus Ave, Sandusky where services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Mackovec, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, Sandusky, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. Contributions may be made to donor's favorite charity.
