Betty Jean (Prunty) Silcott, 70, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 at University Medical Center after a brief illness.
Betty was born on June 5, 1943 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Ardis and Mildred Prunty.
Betty was a member of the Sandusky VFW. In her spare time she enjoyed dancing, cooking, camping and spending time with her friends and family.
Betty is survived by her husband, Warder E. Silcott, of 48 years; sons, Kenny Prunty and Jim (Connie) Silcott; brothers, John Prunty and Arnold Prunty; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 2:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 4:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
