James E. Good, 84, residing in Sandusky, Ohio passed away Sunday evening, December 8, 2013 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.
James was born on August 9, 1929 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Asia (Livingston) Good.
James was a 1947 graduate of Roseville High School and graduated from the Coyne Electrical School in Chicago. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1951 to 1953 as a member of the Signal Corps. He graduated from the Army Signal Corps training center in Camp Gordon, Georgia and finished his service in Korea. James worked for Firelands Electric before retiring in 1991 after 43 years of service. James was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union and the Local 867-129 of Lorain.
James is survived by his brothers, Robert Good of Zanesville, Ohio and William (Jeannie) Good of Henderson, Nevada, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lillian A. (Smith) Good in 2010 and brother, Larry Good in 1991.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory in Sandusky.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870 with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding.
