Mary J. Meyer, 86, passed away peacefully Thursday morning December 26, 2013 at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born February 14, 1927 in Steuben, Ohio. Mary was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Reading and watching the many birds that frequented her feeders, enjoying her lovely flowers, and playing cards in her Pinocle card club, were some of her favorite things.
Mary is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Dale and Sue Meyer, Mason, Michigan, Daryl and Jenifer Meyer, Huron, Ohio and daughter and son-in-law Diane and Randy Eschen of Norwalk, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and her sister, Janet McPherson of Norwalk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 2007, and by her siblings, Don McPherson, Frances Buck and Russell McPherson.
Friends may call Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Friends may also call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 in the funeral home. Rev. David Connor, and Rev. Adrian Doll, will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
