William "Bill" Clifton, 63, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at his residence after a brief illness.
Bill was born on April 11, 1950 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Melvin and Jessie (Cordle) Clifton.
He was employed at Foster Chevrelot doing various jobs for years. Bill was a member of North Pointe Baptist Church where he was an active member, driving the bus, on the financial committee and various other church activities. In his spare time, he enjoyed walking in nature, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and enjoying time with his family and friends.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Eugene) Dillery of Sandusky; grandsons Caleb and Evan Dillery; sisters, Linda Herrmann and Paula (Gary) Hoover, both of Sandusky; brothers, Larry (Mary) Clifton of Castalia and Jerry (Angie) Clifton of Sandusky and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at North Pointe Baptist Church, 3702 Hayes Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will follow in the church at 12:00 pm with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
