Elaine E. Lange, 87, Sandusky, died Friday, January 3, 2014, in the Parkvue Healthcare Center.
She was born on March 3, 1926 in Sandusky, to the late Jacob and Katherine (Lohringel) Wiedeman.
She worked for the Philco Corporation as a bookkeeper.
Elaine loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Lange-Otsuka, Aiea, Hawaii, Susan K. (David) Daniels, Madison, OH, Jeffrey (Rene) Lange and David Lange, both of Sandusky; grandchildren, Jessica, Kristin, Jordan, and Lorin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Lange in 2007; parents; son, James; sisters, Kathryn Ruh and Rose Wiedeman in infancy; brothers, William Carl Wiedeman, Arthur Wiedeman, and Jacob Wiedeman; and son-in-law, Lewis.
At Elaine's request there will be no visitation or services, cremation will take place in the Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will be at a later date in Oakland Cemetery.
