Gloria M. (Jacobs) Wooldridge, 92, of Elyria, Ohio, died Monday, January 20, 2014 in EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria, Ohio.
She was born February 24, 1921 in Ottawa, Ohio to the late Bev and Thelma Jacobs.
Gloria graduated from Norwalk High School, and married Floyd Wooldridge, February 24, 1941 in Mississippi. She resided in Elyria, Ohio for most of her life, where she worked at General Industries for more than 30 years. Gloria was a devoted wife, and a meticulous woman. She enjoyed flowers, and dearly loved her family.
She is survived by brothers, Wallace (Vesta) Jacobs, of Wadsworth, Ohio, and Harold "Bud" (Lorraine) Jacobs of Strongsville, Ohio, and by her brother in law, David White, Sr. of Norwalk, Ohio, and by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of more than 62 years, Floyd, by her sisters, Marion Millis, Colleen Hendricks, and Jacqueline White.
Friends may call on Monday, January 27, 2014 in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, Ohio from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
