Nathaniel Keith Sowards, infant son of Vanessa M. Rogers and Keith B. Sowards, both of Sandusky, peacefully earned his angel wings in the arms of his loving parents on Sunday, January 19, 2014 in the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born on January 15, 2014, and during his four short days on Earth he touched many lives through prayer and support. He reached some who never knew him or his parents, personally. He was loved deeply by many family and friends.
He experienced love and comfort by grasping tightly to Mommy and Daddy's fingers, as well as his special stuffed worm friend. Kisses, hugs, and many "I love you." from his family sheltered him during his short life.
Nathaniel is survived by his parents; siblings, Daizeon McGhee, Aaron Sowards, Jarvea Sowards, and Qadyn Sowards; grandparents, Curtis and Lori Rogers, of Bellevue, Audrey Sowards, of Castalia, and Roger Sowards, of Gallipolis, Ohio; great-grandparents, Karen and Joe Sawyer, of Clyde, and Joyce and Robert Rogers, of Sandusky; and aunts and uncles, Autumn Thomas, Carol Sowards, Karen Sowards, Jason Sowards, Curtis "C.J." Rogers, and Dakota Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his great-great-grandparents, Hazel and Russell Heisler.
Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Nathaniel's name to his family.
