Ruby Mae (Fey) Sexton, 80, of Norwalk, Ohio went to be with the Lord, Friday, January 24, 2014 in the Stein Hospice Care Center.

She was born April 26, 1933, the fifth child of William and Hazel (Ross) Fey, in Norwalk, Ohio.

Ruby was raised with her siblings on the Fey farm on Medusa Road and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Townsend High School in 1951 and was employed at Maple City Rubber Company for over 45 years, retiring in 1998. Ruby was a member of the Norwalk Christian Alliance Church which she attended until her illness did not allow her to attend. Ruby thoroughly enjoyed attending church, being with her family for birthdays, holidays, reunions, and many other gatherings. She also enjoyed luncheon dates with other retired co-workers and loved listening to county music and the Grand Ole Opry.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Zinninger of Norwalk, Ohio, by her grandsons, Kyle Rose and Casey Rose of Norwalk, Ohio, by her brother, Claremond (Clarence) Fey of Norwalk, Ohio, by her sisters in law, Maxine Fey of Lakeland, Florida and Sara Fey of Vermilion, Ohio, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruby was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Sexton and Mildred Fey of Norwalk, Ohio, and Irene Fey of Willard, Ohio, by her brothers, Maynard Fey of Lakeland, Florida, and Donald Fey of Vermilion, Ohio, and by her son in law, Robert Zinninger of Norwalk, Ohio.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Stein Hospice Service for the care and compassion they have shown Ruby and her family.

Friends may call on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Bruce Rzengota, Pastor of Norwalk Alliance Church, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Collins Cemetery.
