Marie L. Eschels 93, formerly of Cocoa Beach, Florida and residing at the Portland House in Sandusky passed away early Saturday afternoon in the Stein Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.
She is survived by her son John (Linda) Eschels of Sandusky her grandchildren Krista (Tim) Kaczay of Atlanta, Georgia and Erika (Matt) Davies of Elyria, Ohio two great-grandchildren Sophia and William Kaczay. Marie is also survived by two brothers and one sister and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl L. Eschels, her parents, and several brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church 510 Columbus Ave Sandusky, Ohio. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The Groff Funeral Home and Crematory in Sandusky are handling the arrangements.
