Lucile H. Lemmerman, 100, Norwalk, OH passed away January 31, 2014 at Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born January 11, 1914, the daughter of Joseph and Edna (Delemater) Smith.
Lucile was a graduate of New London High School and Bowling Green State University. She was a school teacher and homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and traveled to Europe, Italy, the Netherlands, Islands of the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and China. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, sewing, bird watching. She loved to bake and was still baking homemade cookies in her mid-nineties.
Lucile was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Norwalk; Firelands Historical Society, 4-H advisor, Quester's Antique Society, and Shelby AARP Organization.
She is survived by her son Michael (Janice) C. Todd, Bellevue, OH; daughter, Patricia S. Moffatt, Norwalk, OH; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren; brother-in law Robert Todd, Huron, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Glendon C. Todd and Elmer Lemmerman; brothers Richard Smith, Ralph Smith, and Norman Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH where funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Oglesby of First United Methodist Church, Norwalk, OH officiating. Burial will be private at Bellevue Cemetery.
