Beverly J. (Reel) Sullivan, 77, of Sandusky, passed away late Saturday, March 1, 2014 in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born on October 11, 1936 in Washington, Penn. to the late Albert and Ruthie (Dilts) Reel.
Beverly worked for the Sortino family's hotels for over 30 years. She enjoyed watching birds, feeding the squirrels, her dogs, and baking and cooking. Most of all, Beverly loved spending time with her family.
Beverly is survived by her daughters, Terri (Sullivan) Taylor and Kimberly Sullivan, both of Sandusky; daughter-in-law, Candy (Pruitt) Sullivan, of Sandusky; grandson whom she raised as a son, Charlie (Dawn) Nickles, of Sandusky; grandson, Curtis Sullivan, of Sandusky; nine other grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Doris) Reel, of Fremont, Ohio, and Randy Reel, of Sandusky; special sister-in-law, Carol Reel, of Sandusky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Sullivan; children, Debbie Sullivan, Chuck Sullivan, and Vicki (Sullivan) Nickles; a great-grandson in infancy; brothers, Kenny, Bill, and Dick Reel; and sisters-in-law, Grace and Pauline Reel.
Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, and again on Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Castalia Cemetery.
