Lucille E. King, 87, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 in her home.
She was born February 25, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Casper J. and Mary I. (Fiornio) Moore.
Lucille was a 1944 graduate of Youngstown High School, and a 1947 graduate of St. Elizabeth's Medical School, School of Nursing, Youngstown, Ohio. Lucille was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, the Auxiliary of the American Osteopathic Association, the Auxiliary of the American College of Osteopathic Family Practice and the Auxiliary of the Ohio Osteopathic Association.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Deborah and Gary Shoop of Collins, Ohio, by her grandchildren, Michelle L. Shoop and Gregory D. Shoop, and by her great granddaughter, Angela Miller. Lucille is also survived by her brother and sister in law, William D. and June Moore of Richardson, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald C. King, by her son, Donald C. King, Jr., by her brothers, Vincent S. Moore and Casper J. Moore and by her sister, Marie A. Moore.
There will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, (Social Hall, Milan Avenue). Msgr. Kenneth Morman will officiate.
